Taylor's journey to fame began on YouTube. She started with making ASMR videos on her phone. PewDiePie included her in his video about gaming shortly after she hit 50,000 subscribers, about one and a half months after posting her first video. Taylor's Youtube channel reached 100,000 subscribers in 2 weeks. Taylor ceased to produce videos and uploaded them to the internet in private. She cited technical issues, new equipment problems, and she was overwhelmed with her popularity. Following a short break when she was able to start making videos. ASMR 20, Triggers for Sleeping, first appeared on YouTube in July of 2017 and was followed by more than 38 million users. In August 2017, she appeared interviewed by Shane Dawson for his video, and soon afterward, hit a million YouTube viewers. Wired UK estimates that her YouTube advertising earnings were $1000 each week from February to March 2019.
Dennis Helfer (born in Donalda, Alberta) and Elaine Helfer (born in Donalda, Alberta), were his parents. Her birthplace was in the town of Donalda, Alberta Canada. Parents are Elaine and Dennis Helfer. She studied at the William E. Hay Composite High School in Stettler located in Alberta. She had three sisters. Tammy, Tara, and Trena were also employed by her on the grain farm. Helfer was discovered at age 17 by a scout from a modeling agency as she waited in line for a movie theatre
